New-Age Teachings of Bo Sanchez

I was once an avid fan of Bo Sanchez, international lay preacher, evangelist and founder of Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement named Light of Jesus Community (now Light of Jesus Family). I was engaged in the community for three years. I had been attending their Sunday "Feast" (a weekly prayer gathering of the said community) at the Valle Verde Country Club in Pasig City before they transferred to Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City Manila. 

When I moved back to Davao, I even served the local "Feast" here and exposed myself to Bo's ministries as well as the Kerygma Conference. 

Since the age 13, I was already reading the Kerygma Magazine, a Catholic-inspired inspirational magazine published every month by the Shepherd Voice Publication founded by Bo Sanchez.

I was a non-practicing Catholic for years. To add, I was almost converted to Protestantism. And then one day, God called me back home…

Last 2008, I came to encounter Jesus again and renewed my Catholic faith through the community. It’s through the LOJF that I realized how happy it is to be with God in the true and universal church.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED! 

However, as time goes by, I become more thirsty in knowing God more. So I seek and soak myself to some (quite a few only for now) of the many teachings of the Catholic faith. In the process, knowing more the devotion and tradition of the church, I opened my entire being to the reality of God's plan of salvation, through Jesus with Mary.

Here, with the guidance of priests and bishop who give real/genuine/true and ultimate teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, I realized that Bo Sanchez himself is altering the real message of the Gospel (which is totally an offense against the Catholic church) and thus, delivering a new-age teachings to his followers.

Just to clarify: I AM NOT AGAINSTS BO SANCHEZ HIMSELF (as he is a very good servant of God), the FEAST, the KERYGMA CONFERENCE, etc. but I am against his (Bo Sanchez) new-age teachings which are, obviously, not of the Roman Catholic church.

Today, I am offering everything to God Almighty, through Jesus, and with the powerful intercession of the holy Mother of the Church, Mama Mary, and all the heavenly angels and saints that all of us will be enlighten with the Word – to give more time in knowing God through the church.

I am a Catholic. Therefore, I should be in the real house of God. Thanks to my spiritual director, to our father moderator, and to the archbishop of the Diocese of Davao.

May God through Jesus and Mary be praised, forever!

PS: I am going to burn all these books, video and audio CD’s, etc. of Bo Sanchez. Yes, all of them! You know so well why I am going to do this.
